My code is correct

If i remember correctly, this has happened in the past as well (version 6 and 7), only more seldom. This happends fairly seldom (besides with the beta 2).

Yesterday when i had to change this:

Set col = db.Search(|@replacesubstring(MailFile;"\\";"/") ="| + path + |"|, Nothing, 0)

into this:

Set col = db.Search({@replacesubstring(MailFile;"\\";"/") ="} + path + {"}, Nothing, 0)

to be able to save the code, perhaps one of those intermittend errors occured again.

I should also mention that i tried to escape my way out of the editor (esc-key) when the strange [] sign appeared in the editor (on a new row).

My code is not flawed (typos, etc) since i have used this kind of string manipulation a lot. Perhaps this error has something to do with some intermittend error in the designer?
